2025, a rebirth? I was born in 1960, and I'm now retired after a fulfilling corporate life!

I left my native region, the Nord, to settle in Nouvelle-Aquitaine, in Lot-et-Garonne, near Villeneuve-sur-Lot.

What will I do with the time I have left to live in good health? Of course, I'll read a lot, travel, and devote time to my long-standing passion: wargaming.

But should I stop there? In fact, for several decades, a fear has been nagging me: wargamers are aging, and the hobby is lacking young people. When I founded the Warg'amis club in Roubaix, I managed to gather some excellent friends and players, but they were all over 40... Without a new generation of enthusiasts, the hobby could disappear.

So, I tell myself I still have something to do. Communicate this passion for military simulation to others, introduce them to wargaming. In fact, the times we're living in are ideal for this, as the risk of conflict is increasing. I'm often asked about the risks of a conflict with Russia or even Algeria... It might raise a smile, but it really demonstrates the lack of knowledge on the subject among young people, and even older people. So that's my first mission!

Furthermore, I spent almost 30 years in digital marketing and e-commerce, and there too, I asked myself how I could help change things. How to communicate about wargaming, how to help market wargames, how to publish new games with new themes... In fact, even if we get older, the important thing is to still have the desire!

So, my second mission: to sell and communicate! This is my business side. I always told myself there was no business in this field, but hey, I'm going to try things! ;) How can we sell while being friendly? How can we allow authors to get published and make money? How can we recreate a dynamic like the publishing of the late Battles Magazine?

Well, all this only makes sense if we develop cooperation. And then I found myself with my friend Frédéric Aubert from Adhoc Edition, who is passionately developing his Seven Years' War gaming system, the SYWBS! Fred is a true enthusiast of the "lace war" era, but also of wargaming in general. We decided to collaborate on new projects. We're starting by pooling our resources for the online wargame trade. SL-HQ now handles the sale of new and used wargames from third-party publishers. Frédéric will be able to focus on developing his series, as well as new publishing projects, whether solo or together.

Hello! Wargaming is our hobby, and I've decided to bring it to life with a newfound energy! The important thing is to be passionate about it! Stay tuned!
