Paper Wars #92 – Pitt’s War is a strategic wargame depicting the global struggle between the United Kingdom and France from the French Revolution through the fall of the Napoleonic Empire in 1815. The game uses a zone map covering Europe and the Levant, with each turn representing one full year divided into seasonal impulses.
Each player controls either France or Great Britain and its Coalition allies, competing for dominance over Europe. Military forces are represented by multi-step historical armies including elite corps and major historical leaders. Around 130 event markers help recreate the political, military, and economic dynamics of the era.
With a low counter density and accessible rules, a full campaign can be completed in under 10 hours. The game also includes two scenarios covering the Revolutionary Wars and the Napoleonic Empire.
Paper Wars is primarily a wargame review magazine, with each issue including multiple detailed articles and reviews of both new and classic wargames.
