The Mediterranean Sea has long been a strategic crossroads for global trade and military power projection. During the 1970s and 1980s, the US Sixth Fleet and Soviet naval forces regularly confronted one another in tense Cold War stand-offs that could have escalated into full-scale conflict.

Sixth Fleet Deluxe Edition recreates this hypothetical NATO versus Soviet naval campaign across the Mediterranean theater.

Game Description

Built on the Red Dragon Rising system, the game focuses on combined naval, air, and submarine warfare. Players command carrier battle groups, submarines, aircraft squadrons, and limited ground forces while attempting to dominate critical Mediterranean regions.

The game includes two 15-turn scenarios:

• a 1970s scenario;
• an upgraded 1980s scenario with more advanced units.

Combat operations include:

• anti-ship warfare;
