ASL Action Pack #22: A World at War is an official Advanced Squad Leader expansion featuring twelve new tactical scenarios spanning World War II from 1941 to 1945. The pack covers a wide variety of theaters, from Ethiopia and the Eastern Front to Italy, Papua New Guinea, France, and the Ardennes.
Designed by Jim "The Bishop Sez" Bishop and Gary "Fort" Fortenberry, the scenarios emphasize balanced tournament play while showcasing diverse tactical situations.
Game system
The expansion uses the full Advanced Squad Leader rules system.
Scenarios employ the standard ASL mechanics for infantry, armor, artillery, support weapons, leadership, morale, terrain, and fortifications. Three new double-sided geomorphic mapboards expand the available battlefield combinations while remaining fully compatible with previous ASL boards.
