Les Batailles de Louis XIV: 1703, The Year of Victories is a tactical wargame covering two major French victories during the War of the Spanish Succession: Höchstädt (20 September 1703) and Speyerbach (15 November 1703).
At Höchstädt, Marshal Villars and the Elector of Bavaria attempt to defeat the Austro-Prussian army before it can unite its forces along the Danube. At Speyerbach, Marshal Tallard confronts the Imperial relief army attempting to lift the French siege of Landau. Together, these battles illustrate the high point of French battlefield performance before the famous 1704 campaign.
