Early Threatens Washington (Ziplock Edition)

Early Threatens Washington is Volume XIII of Revolution Games' acclaimed Blind Swords series. It recreates the Battle of Monocacy fought on July 9, 1864, during Confederate General Jubal A. Early's Maryland Campaign. Although a Confederate tactical victory, the battle delayed the Southern advance long enough for Union reinforcements to strengthen Washington's defenses, earning Monocacy its reputation as "The Battle That Saved Washington."

The Blind Swords system uses an innovative chit-pull activation mechanism to recreate battlefield friction, command uncertainty and the fog of war while remaining highly playable and particularly enjoyable for solitaire gamers.
