Midway Solitaire Deluxe

Midway Solitaire Deluxe is a strategic solitaire wargame placing you in command of the U.S. Pacific Fleet during the critical months of April to June 1942. Assuming the role of Admiral Chester W. Nimitz, you must halt Japanese expansion while managing scarce naval resources against a fully system-controlled opponent.

The campaign covers the two decisive carrier battles that changed the course of the Pacific War: the Battle of the Coral Sea and the Battle of Midway. Players must carefully allocate carrier task forces, anticipate Japanese operations and preserve their limited naval strength while overcoming a numerically superior enemy.

Rather than focusing on tactical combat details, the game emphasizes operational planning and strategic decision-making. Variable Japanese offensives and multiple strategic choices ensure excellent replay value.

The Deluxe Edition upgrades the original game with a mounted game board, premium counters and enhanced production quality.
