ASL Winter Offensive Bonus Pack 14 2023

ASL Winter Offensive Bonus Pack #14 (2023) is a scenario and map expansion for Advanced Squad Leader, published by Multi-Man Publishing (MMP). It is the fourteenth entry in the annual Winter Offensive Bonus Pack series created for the ASL Winter Offensive tournament.

The pack includes three new tactical scenarios and two new ASL mapboards (89 and 90). Proceeds from sales are donated to the WWII Foundation to support World War II historical preservation.

This is not a standalone game and requires the Advanced Squad Leader 2nd Edition rules and appropriate modules for the necessary units and nationalities.

Game system

The pack uses the full Advanced Squad Leader system.

Scenarios feature:

ASL focuses on highly detailed tactical combat where terrain, morale, leadership, firepower, and combined-arms tactics determine victory.

Included scenarios

The pack contains three scenarios:

WO43 – In Front of the Storm

A winter Eastern Front engagement requiring both sides to manage defensive positions and tactical opportunities.

WO44 – Little Village

A village battle featuring Soviet defenders and a German assault supported by elite troops and armored forces.

Key elements include:

• prepared defenses;
• anti-tank weapons;
• urban combat;
• combined-arms assaults.

WO45 – Better Than Nothing

A combined-arms engagement where both sides must carefully manage limited offensive and defensive resources.

Included mapboards

Board 89

A rural battlefield featuring villages, roads, fields, and terrain suitable for infantry operations.

Board 90

A more open battlefield allowing infantry and vehicle maneuver.

Objective
