Road to the Rhine

Road to the Rhine is an operational-level wargame covering the Allied campaign to liberate Western Europe and advance toward Nazi Germany in late 1944. Designed by veteran designer Frank Chadwick, this classic title has been brought back into print through a thorough editorial effort by Compass Games, updating the game with modern components and refined graphic design.

From the Allied breakout through the push across France to the approach of the Rhine, players command either the Allied coalition or the defending German forces. The game emphasizes logistical constraints, supply line maintenance, and operational momentum. Will the Allies breach the Rhine ahead of schedule, or can the defender stall the advance into a war of attrition?
