From the Cellar - 14

From the Cellar #14 is a new scenario pack from Le Franc-Tireur, designed for Advanced Squad Leader enthusiasts. This fourteenth edition features twelve brand-new tournament scenarios, covering a wide range of engagements from June 1940 to October 1950.

The scenarios explore several theatres of World War II, including France, Sicily, Italy, Greece, the Pacific, the Philippines and Germany, as well as the Korean War.

Players will experience a variety of tactical situations, including French resistance against the German invasion, clashes between former Italian and German allies, amphibious operations, mountain warfare, the Battle of the Bulge and airborne operations.

Historical highlights

• France, June 1940: The fighting at Cinq-Chemins, near Lorient, where French forces attempted to resist the German advance.
• Italy, September 1943: Fighting at Boves involving the Leibstandarte division following Italy's withdrawal from the Axis.
• Greece, September 1943: The dramatic confrontation between German forces and the Italian Acqui Division on the island of Kefalonia.
• Normandy, June 1944: Fighting around Fontenay-le-Pesnel.
• Germany, December 1944: Clashes in the Schnee Eifel sector during the Battle of the Bulge.
• Korea, October 1950: Australian troops advancing towards Yongju.
