Game Overview

Burning Banners: Rage of the Witch Queen is a strategic fantasy wargame set in the richly detailed world of Kalar, where kingdoms struggle to rebuild after a catastrophic magical event known as the Worldwound while dark forces prepare a return to power.

Players command one of six unique kingdoms, raising armies, forming alliances, and competing for control of the continent. Each faction plays a distinct role in the unfolding conflict.

The game includes 29 scenarios, ranging from a single evening battle to an epic campaign spanning more than a decade of war. Armies can be customized with numerous unit types—from resource-gathering miners and specialized troops to mythical creatures such as feral rat hordes and towering frost giants.

The Advanced Game introduces additional layers of strategy including heroes, monsters, magic, and powerful artifacts that can dramatically alter the balance of power across the map.
