The timeline spans from 2001 to 2020, placing the player in charge of strategic decision‑making across a spectrum of political, military, and social challenges. The goal is to advance your agenda while keeping the nation secure and stable amidst an unpredictable world.

The 2nd Edition goes beyond a simple reprint by incorporating errata corrections, rule balance improvements, and enhanced cards and manuals to refine gameplay and clarify mechanics.
