Historical Background
Leibstandarte Pack 3 covers the German counteroffensive around Kharkov during February and March 1943. Following its refit in France, the 1st SS-Panzergrenadier Division "Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler" returned to the Eastern Front and was immediately committed to the defence and recapture of Kharkov.
The scenarios depict several key engagements fought by the division during the Third Battle of Kharkov, including actions involving Kampfgruppen Meyer and Peiper.
