Tankschlacht: Cambrai, 1917 – Ziplock Edition is the second title in Revolution Games' Tankschlacht Series, depicting the historic Battle of Cambrai (20 November – 3 December 1917), the first large-scale offensive to employ massed tanks alongside coordinated artillery and infantry on the Western Front.

Players command either the British Expeditionary Force or the German Army at the operational level. The British seek to exploit surprise through the use of hundreds of Mark IV tanks supported by carefully planned artillery, while the German player must stabilize the front before launching powerful counterattacks using newly developed infiltration tactics.

The Tankschlacht system focuses on operational command decisions, emphasizing combined-arms coordination rather than tactical detail. Success depends on effectively integrating armor, infantry, artillery and reserves throughout the campaign.
