Baltic Empires is a strategic wargame covering the Northern Wars from 1558 to 1721, during which Sweden, Denmark-Norway, Poland-Lithuania, Russia, and Prussia competed for military, political, and economic dominance in the Baltic region. The game spans more than 160 years of conflict, from the Livonian War to the end of the Great Northern War, allowing players to build powerful states through diplomacy, trade, military campaigns, and national development.

Game system

Baltic Empires is a strategic multiplayer wargame combining economic management, diplomacy, national development, and military operations.

Each player commands one asymmetric nation, develops infrastructure, recruits historical personalities, builds armies and fleets, negotiates alliances, and wages land and naval campaigns. Combat is resolved using custom dice, while trade and economic development play a central role in achieving victory.
