The British Way: Enemy of My Enemy Expansion

The British Way: Enemy of My Enemy is an expansion for The British Way: Counterinsurgency at the End of Empire. It adds two complete standalone games depicting earlier colonial conflicts while expanding all four original games with new rules, historical variants and additional components.

The expansion focuses on one of the most fascinating aspects of Britain's decolonisation struggles: the temporary alliances forged with local armed groups that later became insurgent movements opposing British rule.

The two new games include:

• Japanese Occupation (1942–1945), where British forces cooperate with the Malayan Communist Party (MCP) against the Japanese occupation.
• Arab Revolt (1936–1939), covering Britain's suppression of the Palestinian Arab Revolt before the Jewish insurgency featured in the original Palestine game.

Each new title introduces dedicated mechanics specifically designed to capture the unique nature of these conflicts.

Both games can also be linked directly to the original Malaya and Palestine campaigns, creating longer chronological campaigns and expanding the End of Empire Campaign.
