Strategy et Tactics 359 Forgotten Front Italy 1944-45

Forgotten Front: Italy, 1944–45 is the game included in issue #359 of Strategy & Tactics magazine. This operational-level wargame recreates the final year of the Italian campaign during World War II, from Operation Olive in August 1944 to the Axis collapse in spring 1945.

The Allied player conducts the advance through northern Italy while the Axis player attempts to delay the offensive, conserve resources, and exploit favorable terrain and weather conditions. Air power and partisan activity also shape the campaign.
