Bloody Buron is a Historical Advanced Squad Leader (HASL) module depicting the Canadian assault on the Norman village of Buron on July 8, 1944 during Operation Charnwood, one of the major Allied offensives aimed at capturing Caen. Players recreate the fighting between the Canadian 3rd Infantry Division and the entrenched defenders of the 12th SS Panzer Division Hitlerjugend.

The module focuses on assaults against prepared defensive positions including anti-tank ditches, trench systems, fortified strongpoints, and defensive networks protecting the approaches to Caen.
